Bench Donation Program

Thank you for your interest in donating a bench to the Starbuck Lakeshore City Park! The City of Starbuck has identified locations (shown on the below map) throughout the Lakeshore City Park that are in need of a bench. 

Whether you are remembering a loved one, honoring an important person or group, or just wanting to help beautify your town, donating a park bench is a tasteful way to make a lifetime investment in the City of Starbuck. Starbuck City Park

The Starbuck City Park is situated on the west shores of Lake Minnewaska covering over 10 acres.  It offers a tennis court, playground equipment, band shell, picnic shelters (available for rent), horseshoe pits, softball/baseball field, skateboard park, basketball backboard, and a beautiful sandy swimming beach with a concession stand and restrooms.

Park Shelter Reservations

Shelter Rental Fee is $25 per day.

Please contact the City office at 320-239-2525 or email deputyclerk@hcinet.net or dcstarbuck@hcinet.net to reserve your shelter.
 
Shelter #1 - First shelter by main park entrance - includes serving window, electrical outlet, grill and water.
Shelter #2 - Center of park - includes electrical outlet, water, serving counter and restrooms.
Shelter #3 - By tennis courts - includes electrical outlet, grill, and water.
Shelter #4 - Small shelter by lake and band shell - includes electrical outlet, shared grill* and water*.
Shelter #5 - Band shell - includes electrical outlet, shared grill* and water*.

Adopt a Shelter Program

THE STARBUCK LAKESHORE COMMUNITY PARK has 4 picnic shelters and a bandshell that need maintenance and repairs on a regular basis. The City of Starbuck does general maintenance and repair of the shelters and the surrounding grounds. The Adoption of a shelter is not intended to take the place of the city maintenance but is intended to help the city and to improve the overall care of the park buildings.
